Gnat for CX.11
MAN published a plan included in an issue in the last few years and the model was called the GNAT.
It is a little pattern type for .10 engines, 36" span. I plan of putting an Enya CX.11 with tuned pipe on it. Anyone have experience with this design? Thanks, John |
RE: Gnat for CX.11
Not yet, but I have one partway built for my CX .11 too..
I think I have two copies of the plans too IIRC. Where in Ontario are you? MJD |
RE: Gnat for CX.11
Hey, Have you built the Gnat before? It just looks like a winner although I have no experience first hand with it. I like many of the little classics as well. Jr. Falcon to Lazy Bee. That covers quite a span. There are couple other successful pattern planes done in mini size that I wish I could remember. I don't like taking the trailer to field all the time. I think I may be transitioning back to smaller models. I've done the gas thing long enough. I have a real hord of little engines but quite a few big gassers as well. I'm partial to 3W twins and now the Fuji's.
The 86B2 is awesome. Cheap, good value might be fairer. Take care, John, Oh, BTW, Hamilton |
