Jett-Stream tuned or Nelson Ultra Thrust Muffler ??
Hello Guys? Since I need a Muffler for my Webra 50GT Speed engine for SPORT Flying a Tucano with 10x6 APC prop I was thinking to order a:
Jett-Stream High Performance Tuned Muffler‏ or a Nelson SPORT Ultra Thrust Muffler. Its look to me that both are the same but I really apreciated your advise in what you recomend me. Also, do you know if any of these two need a ADAPTER to fit my Webra 50GT Speed? THX, Isaac |

I have an ultrathrust on my webra 50, when you order it specify which engine you have to get the correct bolt spacing. There isn't an adapter.
Not sure anout the jettstream but its probably the same and the performance boost will be the same as well. |

There is little, if any difference, in the two. I have both types. Bob Brassell, bob27s, the Jett engine & muffler representative, is here on RCU a lot answering questions and giving advice on props to use on your engine with a Jett muffler and other things. Due to Bob being available, I would favor Jett.

The Jett is $5 cheaper and the pressure nipple is more convenient. To me it would depend on what finish would match your plane the best.

ORIGINAL: Mike Connor The Jett is $5 cheaper and the pressure nipple is more convenient. To me it would depend on what finish would match your plane the best. On a Tucano with a 10x6 ...... either one ... take your pick |

Well, I have decided and ordered the SPORT Ultra Thrust Muffler. I also ordered the silicone after run oil from them too :-)
