AK Models SU-27 CG & balance
 

I've just finished a SU-27 from AK Models and have one question regarding balance. Do you guys balance the plane right side up with the landing gear extended? or landing gear retracted?

Right side up and gear down empty fuel tank.

It's been a long time since I've balanced this plane.

Wasn't this the trick....empty tank, gear down....lift the nose up pass 2.5 inches and then it rocks back to the tail.....yes?

I think it was more like 1" under thr front wheel then it will sit back on the tail.

Naaah ...both the SU and MIG have been sold ( last summer ) ..they both stil fly in whitehorse... I had to make more room in my basement for the F-16 and F-18.
