Wonder is not such a wild thing, or is it
Hi,
I built myself a wonder a while ago, and put a Norvel .15 Engine on the front. The plane flies really well, very stable and responsive, but i don' think that it is such a wild plane like many people say, i can handle the plane with ease and would like to reach much higher speeds, any help here ? the prop i used was a 8-4, but i want to get a 7-6 to test that out. to get higher pitch will not be easy, the only way i thought of is to get a 8-7 and trim it to a 6.5 - 7 - 7 , how will this work werner |
Wonder is not such a wild thing, or is it
That is because alto of people install .25's on them and it will move.

Right on, Cyclic....
....look for a NIB O.S. 25 FSR off e-Bay, and that baby
will haul the mail.... :D |
hehehehehe........
Mine has a brand new os 32SX sitting in the nose. Cant wait to get the wing finished and covered and to test this bad boy out.
I had one a few years ago with a K&B .28 and it did haul. |

Also, a magnum 44 will actually fit on the nose too, if you made wooden motor mount rails, and you can cowl it in nice and neat like.

So it looks like Sig made the plane's power reasonable for not too high speeds. everyone overpowers the plane
