Proper Pipe and Header for Jett 60LX

Hi all have posted about a US 40 I am building, received Sport Jett 60LX (bought used). Pulled backplate no rust on bearings or crank, engine looks clean and lightly used. Tight fit at TDC. No scoring on piston liner as much as I can see without taking it apart. I'll run it when I get a chance but I don't expect any problems.

So I understand that 10x6 is the way to go to get it screaming, want to order a long pipe and header. Does anyone know the right header and pipe to use (Macs I assume, maybe I need Dub to make a header) also the silicone adapter. This will be my first piped 2 stroke so any advice would be appreciated. (Bob?)

You know that's a tuned muffler on it now, right? Pretty good rpm boost already if you prop it correctly, but not quite as much as a pipe can provide.

Go to the Jett direct support forum under glow engines, and post your question there. But Bob Brassell also checks here too so may catch this pretty quick.

I got back to you on that PM/email.....

Short answer here is ..

Use the jett-stream (gold) LX muffler that comes with it. Performance gain beyond that from a full-size pipe is minimal and just adds complexity, and you have to mount/support it.

As for a long pipe setup:
Headers are available from MACs (same as ST40 bolt spacing)
Pipes available from MACs. I think the 8.5cc pipes are what Dub provides for the FIRE 60LX engines.
