Save a lot of hastle and get a 46 size Jett-stream pipe. Will give you top rpm right out of the box and fit either engine. Don't expect a whole lot out of the OS, they are ported for sport flying not speed. Webra 55 with same pipe gonna eat you alive. ENJOY

I suggest you try the 8.5 size quiet pipe for the most power gain (55AX) and with good transition too, but expect only 200 more RPM(11X6 ACP) than a than a Jett or Ultra thrust performance muffler.
Note: I have not seen much power gain over stock with the Macs one piece black muffler, a better than stock replacement thou.

The easiest bolt on power is the Jett stream or Ultra thrust and they are about the same in performance, both may have a flat spot or loading up at part throttle and some find this on or off power irritating in 3D flying, but for sport speed who cares. The peformance gain with these two is like night and day over stock.

Prop the plane around 14,200 rpm (+-200) on the ground regardles of what type muffler/pipe you use for the 55AX and you will be happy.

The smoothest power band is with the stock muffler and the baffle kept in place.
