Here is my Patriot XL, Super Tiger 90, sheeted wings, servo haches for wing, 20 year old spring air retracts, fuse need just a bit more sanding, wing is been cover.

Best wing I have ever seen and build for a prop jet, planing to fly her next weekend,

Looks great, love your wing job. Save a little coin and stick a OS 91VRDF in the thing and watch things get interesting real fast. Would be first choice over a Jett 91XL due to the much higher rpm's available. My 90 L is looking for a good 90 size 3 D Yak or Edge. Wonderful sport engine, transition and idle like no other. Be sure and oil up those retracts with some air tool oil and they will run another 20 years. I must have 15 or 20 of the thigs from guys that could not keep them going. A lidttle oil and away we go both with good sealing and operation. ENJOY

Thanks rmenke

I had this ST 90 for about a year or two with just a few runs in a P-51, that is why I'm going with it for now, who knows later. [8D].

Been flying my Patriot XL all summer. Has a brand new Supertigre 90 in it. Took a while to break in the engine, but it really hauls now. This plane is somewhat heavy( about 9 lbs) but lands OK using the flaps. I saw where Great Planes has stopped making this kit. Too bad

Nice colors porthole200, I'm going with about the same colors, what size prop are you running at 9 lbs? [8D] I really enjoy using flaps to slow down my airplanes, this one is going to have slotted flaps using small robart hinges inserted in a " V " shape under the wing trealing edge and the flap leading edge.

That looks like a very nice field, What's the location? so can look at it via Google Earth.

Thanks.

I may end up doing that in the future for more speed.

Thanks

Thanks cars......I'm running a `13x6 or a 12x8 prop and they seem to work out all right. I belong to a club here in Woodstock, ct. We fly at the Woodstock airport . We are out in the country, but still get the occasional complaint about noise from some neighbors. We try to be quiet and not fly anywhere near houses, but every once in a while, one of the neighbors complains. Good luck with your patriot.
