that's a moki 1.80?  i'm on the moki bandwagon.  i need to put a 2.10 in that plane.

The Moki 210 is about perfect for this bugger.

I had one in my last SD but it suffered a crash due to a fuel issue.  Might I suggest a perry pump and perry carb if you decide to go this route.  I have both now but the latest isn't finished yet so time will tell on how it works.

The venturi is quite a bit smaller on the perry carb and I'm hoping it doesn't choke it since this plane pretty much runs WFO the whole time its up in the air.

I also managed to shoe horn a tuned pipe inside the fuse so we shall see how it goes.

Good luck and beautiful plane!

Any pics of your tuned pipe inside fuz?

I'm using the stock tank, 22oz i think with big fuel tube,no pump

i use a perry pump on a moki 2.10 in a different plane but this sounds like fun.  a tuned pipe for a moki?  thx.

Is your tank further bank for your decision to use perry pump or your believe your exhaust pressure to low?

I've thought of using the crank pressure to drive a perry pump for smoke on the moki. Is there much success with good smoke with this system?

All I know is I had fueling issues that led to a plane getting tore up.

I've Perry carbed and perry pumped my latest SD so hopefully it'll mitigate any fuel issue.

I don't have photos of the pipe in the fuse.  My intent is to do a build thread here soon.

Taking it up to Billings the 19th, 20th, and 21st for a fly in up there so wish me luck.

I have a Super TIgre 2300 in mine. Not as fast as the Moki but flies it well. So far, no fuel issues.
