O.S. 46 max vx

Hello fellow speed freaks,
I got an os 46maxvx engine and i am looking to get a fast plane out of this engine. Does anyone have any ideas about what plane and what prop size i should use? I don't want a flying wing such as the diamond dust or whiplash. But i honestly can't figure out a good plane to stick this thing into the only speed i see myself acheiving is about 110mph. If im lucky. But if anyone has some good advise please respond.
Thank you in advanced

phoenix strega or one of don stegalls Q40 racers, they run about 150 on a TT40 pro, go to the pylon forum and do some reading, sahartman has done some build threads on these

I have a full composite lyle larson dego red that still needs built, Its just not a fun or easy task. That probably is my only option for this engine. Thanks for the fast reply.

One option is a Matney Zoomer if you don't mind building. Using the 12% wing, you'll have something fast and slick looking.

Did you snag that scratch and dent one? Nice discount for a missing manual. I thought the prop shaft was too short for a prop?

Tru turn makes an adaptor for this engine. They sent me one adaptor TT-0140-A. Its a really nice adaptor but it only grabs about 2 threads So i got the short shaft adaptor ordered should be here in a couple of days TT-0141-A. For anyone that is unsure like myself about what spinner nuts to use make sure you check out Tru-Turn web site its helpful and if your engine isn't listed just give them a call. Im gonna have to look into the matney zoomer. Thanks MJD

If you have a Lyle Dago, just use that, its basically built.

Im checking into the Matney Zoomer that sounds like a good set up. As far as the dego red i would like to put a nelson engine in that. And i need to find a good painter lol.

The Matney plane will be more work than the Dago.
