GP Patriot 40 ARF
 

I need help figuring out what this airplane is worth. Its RTF with an OS46fx tuned pipe and retracts. Comes with a JR 6 channel radio. All basically new (just old). Is this airplane worth $400 RTF?

You don't give much information. But I'd first start by adding up the value of the parts. You probably know that the 46FX has been out of production for a while. It's a good engine. And if it has little run time it should run well.

-Is the radio spread spectrum? I'd skip the radio purchase myself. It really has no value to me. Do you have a radio already? If this is an FM radio, do you want an FM radio?

-Is this an Arf or built from a kit?

-What kind of Servos? Standard servos are pretty inexpensive.

-What about the retracts? Some retracts can be rather pricey.

-For me, the big questions is how much is my time worth? For me, a fully built plane is appealing. That is, if it's built right.

I have not seen your other posts. But hopefully, you have some experience with fast planes.

The Patriot ARF is RARE, if it is built well and in good shape it is worth that much. Wish I could purchase it- LOL
