RE: Losi Micro SCT 4wd!!!
i bought 2 of these lipos for $17 last night off ebay. they should fit good according to the specs krooked gave(thank you!)
they are a tad smaller then the ones he bought, and are 200mah instead of 250mah. but then i got 2 for only $17. i just have to figure out where on the chassis i can put a LVA.

RE: Losi Micro SCT 4wd!!!
still love this little car but had my servo crap out doing some fairly easy (or so I thought) driving. I was running it in a parking lot and using a small angled curb as a ride along (maybe a 30 degree angle on the curb) and somehow the servo broke. losi drives them over much worse terrain in their online videos racing in a park so I am assuming it was a freak thing but just wondered if anyone else had these issues.
also wanted to see if you guys were having luck with those small (& cheap!) lipos. thanks

RE: Losi Micro SCT 4wd!!!
Sounds like yours might have been defective as the stock servo saver is quite soft IMO . I am running some 5 dollar LiPo's from AeroNuts and they have been working great with my brushless MSCT .
[link]http://www.aero-nuts.com/product_info.php?cPath=32_56&products_id=602[/link] There is no built in LVC on these like the Losi batteries so you have to be careful not too run them too low .

Thanks, I ordered a few of those so we will see how it works. Bought a new servo and car seems to be running great, hope it was just defective as you said.
As far as the lipo's go, how low is too low to run those batteries? Say the car starts slowing down and is noticeably dying then is that safe? I apologize for the questions as I am not too familiar with the LVC and want to make sure I don't overun these things. Thanks

if you pick up a little handheld blinky balancer(which you can plug into the balance lead on the lipo and read the voltage of each cell) then you can check the lipo as you run. then just make a note of how many minutes you can run before the voltage of the cells hits 3.2v(they can saftly go down to 3.0, but try not to go below 3.2 to be safe)

RE: Losi Micro SCT 4wd!!!
The Rally has a longer rear body mount (maybe front also) and different front/rear bumpers , and has different wheels/tires , and of course the body .
The longer mounts come with the bumpers so it should cost like 23 dollars total for body , bumpers and mounts , and wheels/tires .

Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you all know there's an indoor track at CJZ Hobby in Brampton Ontario. They will having an 11 race points series starting on Nov/17/13 and the races will be held every two weeks after that. If you're in the area come on by and check it out.
