Craft Air Cowboy .15
20 years ago it was my first RC plane, I never learned to fly it, crash and repair over and over. Does anyone have a Cowboy 15, how does it fly? I would love to have another crack at one but they are hard to find (not very popular). As I remember it was a 3 channel with about a 48-52 inch span and cost $44.00 at the Hobby House in Louisville KY. I flew...I mean crashed mine with a Enya .15. If anyone has a lead on some plans or a kit let me know.

RE: Craft Air Cowboy .15
sorry to drag up an old thread, but has someone built one of these lately. I've cut all of the wing ribs and getting ready to do the LE & spars. The fuselage looks to be as simple as pie, 1/8" plywood from tip to tail.

Wow, I haven't hearn "Cowboy .15" in YEARS. It wasn't my first RC airplane, but it was my first "real" RC airplane. I started with a beat up Cox 2-channel foam Centurion and tried teaching myself at the age of 14. I got nowhere. It took me a year to find a club and actually get help, and a member had a Cowboy .40. I had an old Fox .15 laying around, so I built a Cowboy .15. It was a good flying airplane, survived many rookie mistakes and mishaps, and eventually taught me to fly. Good luck with yours!
