I know it's getting close to Halloween, but it's awfully spooky how quite it is with a race less than a week away. I know you guys can do better than that!! Let's here some smack talk... Or did ya'll all turn tail and decide not to show up at this race out of fear for Skully!!!

The reason it’s sooo quiet is that everyone is rubbing that new speed wax on planes and props. It’s some sort of red carnauba jelly that comes from Canada. The down side to this stuff is that the plane keeps slipping out of your hands.

Just back from vacation and all is ready for this weekends event.
Looks like the weather gods are playing the game so should be cool and clear skies.
looking forward to a great day...

Current weather forcast is 72 deg, 4 mph winds (more or less straight down runway) and clear skies, woo hoo....
Looks like we can have one race without dripping with sweat, flying in 30mph cross winds or getting rained out.......
Come on down and enjoy the fun ..............

Looks like work isnt gonna allow me to make the trip so you get one more race without looking over your shoulder.  LOL
weather sounds great for the race, so hope you guys have a good time and some fun racing. hopefully see you guys in Georgetown if work permits.

I need help!  After all these engine mods, I can't get this thing to idle.  It is supposed to idle according to the rules, isn't it?

Now that you have drilled out the carb etc it will never idle, it may give you the 17k rpm you were after though

Ted use an on board glow igniter. it will give you a steady idle and the side benifit will be the added weight you need to make the legal minimum weight.

Jason, A ghost turd is a white packing peanut, my dad always called them that.

Doug that's a "Ghost poopie!"

Tim I haven't see a Club 40 idle since Chuck was around, so 2008 was the last time.

Squidman, are you gonna show your mug??

Man I hate to hear so many might not be able to attend, weathers going to be stellar and should offer some great racing. I am going to show up with the hope of a available caller. See you guys at the race. Larry C.
