I know what you mean about them growing up fast.... Dominic just turned 6 on saturday and it seems like it was only a couple years ago when we had him. I dont know how much I would like a buggy because usually the places we go bashing are really rough and have huge jumps and hills. I was thinking about joining the rc club next year and get into racing the savage.

I brought this thing back from almost 2 years on the shelf. I tried starting it yesterday but it won't prime! I believe it's the carb, So i took it apart, re-sealed it, and now set it to dry. Hopefully tomorrow it starts! Can someone let me know what fuel tank I have? I forgot what car I got it from...

Nice. Where do you run your MT2?

I just dropped in a OS18 CV-RX into my truck. I need to break it in now. I also just got carbon fiber shock tower, a carbon fiber upper deck and a THS pipe.

I usually run my car in the street equipped with some foam tires, rarely I just run in juniper park. If you know any good bashing spots, let me know. I only run a street setup.

Yea bocci courts are still their!

I run my MT2 in parks by my house. I have a Jato that I only run in the street.

Maybe we can meet up some time.

I have MT2 g3.0 and im looking for new tires, the track I run on is loose dirt and sand, I have dirt bonz js's on it now and when I try punch it out of the corners where the sand really builds upthey spinalot causing it to fish tail all the way down the strights. I wanted to go with a little bigger tire so I was looking at the 2.8 Dirt hawgs, but read they were terrible in looser soilconditions.Any suggestions?

You could try bigger hex's and throw on buggy tires.

Trying to run 17mm buggy wheels on my Hpi MT2, I recently purchased the Hot Racing 12 to 17mm adapters but it will not work, axles arent long enough to clear the adapter to allow me to thread a nut to lock it in place.

So my question is before I waste anymore money, what are most people using to run 17mm buggy wheels on the Hpi MT2, I have seen the New Era adapter but dont know if the buggy wheels will clear the body during turning (steering).

I have searched this forum for the answer but it seems it is asked alot but havent seen an answer yet.

Thanks

You could try calling or emailing the guy at wheelextentions.com and see if he can help you out with one of his kits, I dont know if he makes them in 17mm that will fit the mt2 but they might help the clearance issue. Let us know what you find,I will belooking to do the same thing soon. Hope this helps.

It looks like it could be an original MT. Would need more pictures though to be sure. Also looks like it has some upgrades on it already. Those look like aluminum shocks. Most of the parts line up the same so you shoule be ok.

Has anyone tried the blue grove electric conversion for the MT2?
