Bax
Thank you for the prompt reply,
Now its my fault,I may have negelected to ask for the correct information.
The engine I have is, o.s. sf 60 rear cam (circ 1967) Its old but it should be preserved if possible. It is in very good shape,so if I can find out the settings I will have running, and on a plane.
Thank you four tine and effort.

RE: o.s. sf 60 cam an valve setting
The old O.S. FS-60 has the rear camshaft. When the rear cam case is removed, you'll see the small gear on the end of the crankshaft that goes into the ring gear. There should be a small dot on the ring gear. When the piston is at Top Dead Center, the dot on the ring gear should be straight up, towards the top of the engine. That will set the cam timing correctly.
