Just pay it forward!

Just pay it forward!
This forum is great....About 2 weeks ago I posted that I needed a set of fuel tanks for my TAM fun scale F-16. Galen (Booker-RC) emailed me and said he would send me the tanks for free. I offered to pay for shipping but before I knew it, the tanks were at my house. I installed the tanks and got my favorite little F-16 back in the air..The Jet flew great, and it's all thanks to great guys like Galen...
I was thinking of a way to give back to the forum, so I'm going to pay it forward to another Jet guy. I have a rear Stab, and both ailerons from a Skymaster F-18C Blue Angel that I'm sure someone out there could use. Unfortunately I don't have the air brake...If you need these parts, please email me with your address and I'll send it to you. The only thing I ask is you do the same for another Jet guy.
Thanks Galen,
Chris Z
PS, check out the F-16 Cockpit I built from the Italeri Model kit. I also added Metal kote on the tail..looks great!

Ron,
I have my old crashed eurosport in a box in the basement at home.. I'm pretty sure I have one good canard, the 2nd one had the tip w. The balance weight broken off. Ill double check, but from what I can remember they should be simple fixes. You are more than welcome to them if you like

I am glad somebody started this thread. Last weekend I toasted a pipe on my Yellow f15 and posted a pic on here to get some opinions on it. Which unfortunately were all bad. A gentleman ( ww2birds) ( Dave) read my thread and the next day sent me his . When I tried to at least pay the shipping he refused and told me to help a youngster in the local club. What a stud!
I love getting on here and reading positive threads. FYI I gave my wife flowers yesterday in my old f15 pipe. Lol I knew I could find a use for it.

Think this really could be of great benefit to everyone.
Could we get the moderators to change the title and keep it posted at the top like jet events etc, provided Chris is happy as he started it.

RE: Just pay it forward!
This sounds like a great idea. It is a good feeling to give something away that someone else needs. I would CAUTION everyone though, there are always those bad apples in the group that will take something for free then turn around and sell it on the classifieds. So we need to make sure that this doesn't turn into a treasure chest of goodies for those cheap *****es out there.
I have a good feeling about this.
I think we should change the thread title to something along the line of " ......Just pay it forward"
Anyone who receives show then post what they are giving away.
I know I have tons of jet stuff that will never be used.
OK here is my donation:
I have two mint condition Skymaster Mig 29 wings ( left and right) in the foil wingbags, not painted ( white gelcoat). They don't have flaps or alerions as they were for the taileron version. Just sitting there collecting dust.
Happy Holidays,
Billy Edwards

ATTENTION MODERATORS
This is a great idea! Esp. in this economy and really shows the spirit of the hobby. RCU should consider a second section like the buy sell section where people could post want or I have for give away adds. It could also be organized similar to the buy sell section.

You have the rest of that Mig 29 sitting around collecting dust to Billy?
More seriously...
I have a canopy and base (early none-frame eurosport, so Gen 1 or 2). Canopy is slightly scuffed in a few spots (micro-mesh could take it out) the hooks are broken away, but again, all easy repairs.. Free to a good home.

I have a pair of Rookie 2 wings, should fit any of the many variants of this type, just pay the shipping, I can also exchange for a Eurosport canopy if anyone has one?
P.M. if you want or have.
