You can't get accurate cross sections from a 3 view that doesn't have cross sections byusing CAD. But if you study a lot of pictures and use the obvious features andshadow details you can fake it pretty closely.

Use a plastic model. determine final size of your model and devide it with the lenght of the plastic model. This will give you your scaling factor. Then figure out how far you want your formers then reduce this by the scale factor then take that measurement and mark and cut one of the halves from the plastic model with a fine hobby saw at those locations. then use these sections and trace them with a fine point .002 mm pen. Scan them, scale them up then you can trace the halves on cad. When your done with that you can use the mirror comand then you will have full formers.

Simplified
Scale factor say it will be 100" the plastic model is 10" 100/10= 10

ok so you want your formers to be 6 1/4" apart 6.25/10=.625=5/8"

so mark out the plastic model every 5/8" and cut your cross sections at each mark

If you have a CAD program you can buy a file here. http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/...-3d-lwo/410791

what tdstaf said, but instead of tracing with a pencil, use an ink pad to transfer it to paper. Using a pencil, will at best, be a difficult task to get all of the in's and out's just right, and you will have to deal with the pencil tip width.
