Hi Creedah,
I belive that I have the 500D plans stashed away somewhere, BUT they are 1/72nd scale. If I do a hi-res scan ( that is, the max the scanner can cope with ), then you could blow it up to the size you want.
If it's of any use to you then PM me with your email address.
Just give me a couple of days to find and scan.
Regards.
Karl.

Hi Creedah,
look below this entry and there should be a bar with an Email logo, followed by a PM logo etc. Click on the PM logo , and GO, GO, GO.
Ok olé!
Regards.
Karl.
P.S. I used to live in Newcastle, but upon-Tyne.

RE: Magnum PI wonna bee
Just got one of those Magnum MD500E 250 from scaleflying the other day and squeezed in a Mystery RTF.
The parts I removed include the skids, boom supports, 3" of the boom and the stock canopy.
Since the motor sticks out I had to trim away the canopy over it and that allows cooling air in as well.
The antenna wire also hit the canopy so a small hole allows that to pass thru on installation and keeps
it facing the right direction also.
The old boom support holds the boom centered in the fuse and elimated the need for the screw holding
the boom to the mechanics forward. I found after the first flight the tail blades hit the fuse a bit so that
block will be trimmed and repositioned to allow more clearance.
After flying it a bit more the tail boom can be shortened that last inch to make
it meet the back of the fuselage without the main blades touching.
