Mount it using double-sided tape or zip ties. Plug the wire into the RX and that is the only one that plugs into the RX.

"Ch. 1 to turn, Ch. 2 to burn"

What that means is your steering servo gets plugged into Channel 1 of the reciever (Rx) and the ESC gets plugged into Channel 2 of the reciever (Rx).

The power comes from the 2 wires that will need to be soldered on and connected to the battery. On the opposite side, there are 3 places for the motor to be connected to.

The ESC (Mamba in this case) will power the receiver (Rx) without burning it up because it has - in simple terms - circuity to prevent that from happening.

If you look at the above picture to follow along, it will become easy enough for you to understand.

The 3 thick wires on the left side (Black, Red, White) are attached to the motor. As long as you hook it up like the picture (or according to the instructions), that will not be a problem.

The 2 thick wires on the right side (Black, Red) are hooked up directly to the battery (not shown in picture). Just make sure Red to Red, Black to Black and there will not be a problem.

The receiver plug (black thing attached to thin wires) goes into Ch. 2 of the receiver (Rx).

The esc supplies the power for the receiver and servo, plug it in to channel 2 and make sure the polarity is right when you plug it in as it will go in either way. The brown wire is the ground on the esc plug so if your servo wires are red/white/black the brown wire will be in line with the black wire.

STR = Channel 1
THR = Channel 2
A AUX = Channel 3

BATT = Battery

I tend to break down stuff I don't understand into smaller, more basic line of thinking (sort of the same way math is set up) and then take small steps from there until I understand the whole problem at hand.

The power is supplied to the receiver in the esc plug middle wire, you don't need to plug anything into the battery or aux port on the receiver...
