I'm curious, once the side pontoons are cut off, how are the others reattached?

Small question.
Where are receiver batteries attached to the body?

Thanks.

Lee, are you holding out on the finished pics of this build? Or did you screw something up royally and you're awaiting parts?

Tamiya side cutters make light work of servo tabs.. (they need to be cut off as its mounted on its end..)

servo mounted..

battery doors mounted.. (remember, battery is installed lengthways, not sideways like on the F103)..

Officially no.. but realistically, yes.. as it contains TRF damper and almost all the hop ups you can buy so..

electronics mounted (roughly) there's so little space in there.. tidying the wires up will be a major pain... [:'(]

not really, just waiting for a titanium screw set to come in.. the body will likely be finished before the chassis..
Hi, If your not to keen on the Ferrari maybe you can try this one. Regards

Hey Lee,

How goes the build? Did you stall out on the wiring. I was having a nightmare of time with mine. Here's some pics if they help.

Granted I didn't use a BL system so I had a few less wires to contend with. But Tamiya doesn't allow BL in their F1 class...at least for now.
