Thanks for the kind words Aljo. And Russell is amazing! You have taken yours to a completely different level than anything else I've seen.
Oh, and you mentioned I might BREAK something?
All good bruv. Thx gonna tackle the paint job soon also looking around for some good 1/8th scale multi terrain tyres and rims also starting to plan a 6s setup with 2 x 3s in series but atm I will find the weak areas of this setup. Thanks for the kind words Aljo. Very nice setup. I would hate to crash that pretty thing. How did you get the rims to be chrome red? Those are the same rims I am using but I dechromed mine.

Stryker USMC how did you manage that? I like the look of the Tbone bumper. Was going to go with the STRC bumper but seeing your tbone i like.

@coolguy1975, you can find the FLM parts at these two location s that I know of. There might be more.

@Aljo, I really do love tinkering on the Rustler. Maybe more than I do driving it. So breaks are always welcome.
And really looking forward to your videos.

Aljo: I just dyed the wheels red with a fabric dye called Rit. Really quick and easy. The chasis and the transmission case were also dyed black. they were originally grey.

RE: Official Rustler Thread
Got my rear tower fixed. I just put on a RPM one for now. I have the ProTrac suspension but won't put that on until I have the rest of the parts and a new body.
Figured while I have the lid off might as well grab the Dremel and rearrange some things. Anyone else perform this mod on their Rusty? I figured I dropped some weight and put the center of gravity a little closer to center. I didn't like the speed controller up so high and to the rear of the car.

You dyed it ontop of the chrome? I tryed that but it didn't absorb into the chrome it actually blistered the chrome.

I read that a Class 6 memory card can help with strobing aswell so I will look into that too.

I really like that body and wheel combo thehuntingterminator. Looks more Monster Truck than Stadium Truck.
Have you guys seen the new radio from HobbyKing? Does anyone know if the HobbyKing mini receivers will fit in the Traxxas sealed receiver boxes?

I been looking for that body but clear. Mine is almost in two pieces using electrical tape to keep it together. I have other bodies bot like the classic body. Would the dye work on the lexan body?
I also just ordered the T-bone set yesterday. Seen it on your rustler Stryker, and fell in love with the look.

this one: www.hobbypartz.com/79p-gt2-blue.html. its gonna take some getting used to, but o well. it was a great deal and my first 2.4ghz system, so i'm happy. the range with this thing is awesome, and the part where i don't have to worry about binding at the track is even better. i'll get my Bandit VXL running tomorrow and put the extra receiver i bought in it and see how it works!

RE: Official Rustler Thread
Another project finally done. Stretch Rustler or lowered Slash? Installed the Slash LCG kit from ST Racing concepts. RPM arms, caster blocks, bearing carriers, and shock towers. Traxxas red alum turnbuckles and toe links. Velineon brushless, not yet installed. STRC 17mm wheel adapters, and Momentum 1/8 buggy wheels/tires. Wing is Pro-line 1/8 high downforce, mounted with HPI Hellfire wing mounts. Body is Pro-line 1/8 buggy for the Kyosho MP 777 (this was all from a Backslash project i did earlier from URC.com). Still working on a forward body mount. New body is coming soon. Enjoy!
