RE: Carbon gear for profile
For what it's worth CF gear has been tried many times on profiles and the consensus was almost always "not worth it". CF gear can be too stiff and brittle for the type of abuse profiles take. I can't tell you how many times we've all seen CF gear snap off at the shoulder at various ProBro or other funfly meets. Better to have some flexibility in the gear instead of ripping the fuselage apart too. Just m2cw.

I used to sell them in an effort with Graphtech. Salmon is pretty dead on target, they just were not up to the abuse. Now, I understand Graphtech has changed their manufacturing process and they may be better now, but the cost was high back when and now probably even more $$$. I suggest aluminum, tetherite or no gear at all is fine too.

Try Carl Goldberg No 257 Glass filled reinforced Profile Landing Gear for .40 size Extremly tough and light. They are impact resistant. They can deflect and return to original shape without losing form. Comes complete with screws. Includes (2) 5/32"X1 1/4" polished nickel axles. Made in the USA...........unbelievable.

Good price too ! I have one set installed in my Burrito and one as a stand-by, just in case. Thanks for confirming what I recommended.
