Hey all, I have my first Apache on it´s way from Mart. (well, a Navaho but I guess it´s close enough! )

I will build it to use blue smoke, hope you dont mind me asking few q´s here at the gas section.

I would like to get scale looking exhaust outlets for it(4) and thinking what size ones you guys use and if you have a picture of them installed on your apache then that would be great!

Thinking that this is too small http://www.toughracing.com/zc126d/in...products_id=93

This maybe too big http://www.toughracing.com/zc126d/in...roducts_id=135

I will use them as water outlets so the first one I linked would be really easy but is it going to look tiny on 57" hull?

I have looked through this thread many times and the white "warpath" exhaust outlets looks about the style I´m after. Here is a link to pic http://images.rcuniverse.com/forum/u...07/Vq52253.jpg

Hello everyone.  I have not touched my apache yet.  It is still in the box.  I sold my Checkmate so this may give me more time to start the Apache.  What are you guys thoughts on the MHZ trimmax drive?  There is one for sale in the classifieds.  I guess about the same price as anything else but I thought maybe I could get started.  I reallly wanted the MHZ S6 but I just don't want to dish out the money for them.  I have a 1/10th cracker box I built I need to sell also and get that out of the way.  Electric is not for me.  I love my T Maxx though!

For performance I would think the trimax surface drive would be best and still look very cool.

What Apache do you have ? any pic's ?

I stated earlier it was 57" but it is actually 56". It is an Aeromarine Hull. I have wanted one for years and I just happen to look at ebay and saw it for a good price.

The silver one is actually the Miss Havana club. I scrapped that RUM theme because the AM hull just doesn’t want to handle like the CIP hull my son is holding. So I asked my best friend to shoot it when he was painting a 2004 Mustang. The color is amazing and I had some Goodyear decals that I picked up at the track that fit the color scheme. I am going to regret it when she is gone. But she will be going as soon as I get a WaveRider Apache.
I am 80% done with building a A/C Razor for my god son but I will try to get you some clean pictures of the interior later this week.

Lots of nice paint jobs in previous post. I was thinking the old War Path paint job but seems like it would be expensive to do something so detailed. Here are more pictures. I made an offer on that trim max drive so I have started to try and collect parts.

Nice Jared

old War Path scheme was recently by ( team prestige ) and very nicely done as well !

This is his thread if you have not seen it ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_97...tm.htm#9738190 )

I'm also building the same Apache as you, should be nice I think. I will post a build thread soon. I need a week or so, I'm painting the boat now at my friends shop.
Time getting there after work when time allows and when my friend has time for me to use the shop.
I can't paint at home no place to it with out smelling up the house and getting the wife mad !

I see lots of you guys talking about trading motors or updating your boats. If you have some stuff you might sell let me know and I will take a look and see if I am interested or not. I really would like to find a MHZ S6 drive.

Thanks, I always find it hard to take pictures when we out at the lake of my own boats but I will see what I can do this weekend.

Yes it is a WHH T-bar. Not the prettiest but it the only one I know that gives you all the adjustments you may need.

Thanks again,
Leo
