I have the plans and a kit cut for it but I have not started it yet. But will in the next few weeks. I have seen the XP 56 fly and it was a hand full on take off but once in the air flew great

I use to have a Shinden and it flew good with in reason

Do you think this plan needs any necessary modifications to give it better flying characteristics. In addition to that some of the information in the plan I have is missing. Can you help me there. I am attaching the picture here (hope it is not copyrighted as I myself got it from a site proclaiming it to be free). Can you have a look at it and suggest any modifications needed.

Happy flying.

P.S. I can send you the AutoCADfile provided I have your email address.

My plan is a little different, but i will check. The only issue that i think would be a problem is weight and the size of the rudders which went through a few changes even on the real one. If i remember correctly that it had very little lateral control espeically if they wre in a spin. I have pics and other info i could email you and such.

I downloaded the plans and had them printed out at a blueprint shop. Printing big stuff at Kinko's is awfully expensive. I have 2 other projects I am working on right now, and it is on the list to build, but I don't know when it will be. I will probobly do the Don Smith B-29 and B-17 before it so I will be watching you guys and your progress. It does look like an interesting project, and you will be the only one with one of those at your local field!

Good Luck, Will
