Default Nitro engine question

I was wondering if anyone could help tell me what the procedure is for storing a nitro engine for a long period of time. I have been using after run oil, and it doesnt seem to be working well. Is there another type of oil and procedure I should be doing? Thanks, -ViperMitch.

I put a couple of drops or after run oil into the carb. and into the spark plug hole and I turn it over by hand a few times. After a few months when I go back to the motor, theyre usually stuck. I usually can free them up, but I dont understand why the engine is stuck.

I never do anything and leave the engines as they are. Been doing this for longer than I can remeber and even after ten or more years of an engine being unused, it has been OK. Only use OS engines though. The problem with adding a different oil is it might not mix with the oil in the fuel and actually make things worse when you restart the engine.
