Default PROPANE FUEL 4 STROKE

Has anyone tried the Echo/Lehr 25cc 4 stroke propane trimmer engine on RC?

nope, but i ran my os 40 four stroke on propane. starts are alot easier and idles down low. propane doesnt have the same btu's as nitro, so therefore power is reduced some.

I have been thinking of getting one to play with. If I see one for cheap in the return bin I will go for it. It might be possible to run it with butane. Backpacker's stoves use light weight butane contianers. It was also pointed out that the compression ratio could be higher and therefore give more power with a gasoline carb.
