You need a 2S receiver LiPo and a 6V voltage regulator. If you're running an older tail servo like a 9254 or 9253 thats not rated for 6v then you'll need a tail servo voltage step down like Align sells as well

now you will also need to consider which voltage ratings your servos and gyro can handle... if its 5 or 6V only, you will need a voltage regulator and then a decent size 2S lipo... 2000mah 7.4V will do with a 5Amp regulator... here are some to look at...

or buy all align servos plus gyro and you can use Life4PO pack without a regulator... I just like Align ok

ESC is an electronic speed controller, you get brushed and brush-less... most ESC's will have a BEC included, but not all do then you buy a separate one and solder it on... used with electric motors, you choose one based on whether you have brushed or brush-less motor... you wont really find brushed that often as brush-less is the norm now... it serves as an electronic throttle providing throttle input to the motor... BSE? are you referring to a BEC maybe? also get a SBEC... they all serve the same purpose (including the regulator)... they regulate voltage down to a manageable voltage level which the servos can handle... in other words provides constant either +/- 6V or +/- 5V... BEC is short for battery elimination circuit...

BEC is a battery eliminiator circuit. It lets you use a motor battery to power the reciever and servos. Smaller electrics generally run a built in BEC. Larger electrics run a separate reciever battery.

that Align regulator you had link to there is brilliant... would be perfect, I have just read that some replace the switches on them... as they tend to give problems... benefit for Lipo's, they last longer... so more flight time without needing to recharge them... that's the only reason I use them for and they are a little lighter...
