Default New Scheme Ultra Flash Black/Silver/Orange

It's here! Based on my Spark Black scheme we OK'd this UF design in Mcd's waiting for the last CJ event!! Needs a good polish but should look great! Part of the idea on the scheme is we will use our Hawk 100R turbine, which allows just the fuse tank to be used.

Those are seam lines on the fuselage correct? Are all like this?

The question is, Dave...'will Rob have it ready for CJ this Friday?!'

Yes they are seam lines. They vary, these are quite bad, but if you want a perfect job have a white kit and get it painted. My Spark which is perfect started as a stock scheme, it would add nearly 50% to the model cost!

Dick, I think he'll struggle for the next CJ, probably the one after too!

Oh wow, how nice a scheme! Is that another "add EUR 150 custome scheme" or will they offer it as one of their regular ones?

Dave,
Wow! That scheme will wake you up in the morning! Very "Flashy", no pun intended. Question on the UF build; I dutifully put the intake joiner in, engine and covers, etc., and now find that I need access to that area to install the rear fuselage tank brace. Do I just have to work around the inlet joiner to get the rear brace in, or should I have put the brace in before the inlet joiner? (Too late now).
Regards,
Mark

Mark

You have glued the inlet joiner? It not supposed to be! Yes I did the tank support first

This was a plus 150 euro, but we think it will now be a stock scheme!

When it's finished no one notices...My UF has the same seams, no one comments.

Ditto that

Very McLaren-ish, a few Merc badges here and there would complete the look Dave

Stunning though

Woow[:-] like it[8D]

Shows for me the best scheme to get for the UL Flash, when it will be a stock scheme.

Will it also be able on the UL Lightning?

Ciao

Rob says this won't be one of his long builds, he has everything prepared. I think with the dark canopy tint like my Spark it will rock.

Rob will use a Hawk 100R turbine in this one, but most are using a P120SX. I expect performance with the P80SE to be very good, someone is sure to try it soon.

Just missing some nice M&R stickers!
Too many joints in the tank connection! Go 6mm clear and just use the one ball valve!

Enjoy, another UF was test flown today...he was happy

Still see you Sunday?

Glyn,

That really does look good and I imagine very easy to see, so it will be quite a difficult choice between that and the Shui scheme.

You would "really" upset Rob if you pick 'his' scheme too!!

Dave

I'm expecting to see Rob's Sunday!
