supermate dc6 (DC) ?
soo i know this doesent come with an ac charger but i have a power supply for a neon tube thingy .. it has a 12v output rating wondering if i could use it sense its the same voltage as a car would be?

yea i tried to use the other one om my nimh ac/dc charger and a dont think it has enough amps because as soon as i go to charge the battery the charger shuts down and reboots i have another on i just cant find it right now .. its the one for the neon tube that i cant find im thinking it will work though because i ran a car stereo off of it no problem

Not necessarily. With an output voltage (charger output or batery voltage) of 12 volts then it is true you can do 2 amps. At voltages less than that you can do more. At voltages more than that you can do less.
It means you can do around 12x2=24 watts. On a single cell this would be 12 amps (charger is max 5 though) and on a 15 cell pack this would be about 1 amp. On a 6 cell NIMH pack it's going to be around (24/8 volts) = 3 amps or so.

yea my charger has a 0.8A 1.5A 3.0A and 5.0A charge rate and im trying it right now and it only lets me charge on the 0.8A and 1.5A the rest throw a error code 1 so ya i ordered a 12v 5A ac adapter
