Included in mine and yep, that's where it goes
Ahh, then I was right
Where have you put the CG on the Futura, the "manual" has two settings, one for "competition" and one for "normal flight" (middle of wing tube/trailing edge of tube), anyone changed that ??
(planning the radio installation etc at the moment)

Thanks guys !

Know I have to look at this and create one... Should be better for knife edge stiffness of the canopy...

Nhalyn,
oh no, the Danish language is very easy, we have kids here at the age of 2 that understands most of it, so must be quite easy
Anyway, the former for the canopy was included with my kit, I did not see it on the pictures that followed the plane, but it fit perfectly in the canopy, so I assumed that was where it should be
Did´nt have any problems with the danish language either. Must be easy Can´t wait to se the futura irl..

Hi Carsten,

Looking good mate - you must be out now testing flying her......

Do you have pics of the gear? Looks like you have a new (and needed) better design

Cheers,
Mark

Cooooool !

It seems you put all the stuff in the nose, so what about the CoG and eventually nose weight ?

Done like that, it should be pretty much spot on.

My first was a very similar lay out and needed no weight anywhere - not sure where the CofG was but it flew great!!

Great ! I like it this way... With such a nose it's a shame to put nose weight !

Thanks Mark, and yes, I was out testing her yesterday
What a blast and a pleasant surprice !
The gear worked perfectly, I have one "Behotec" airbottle, it works with this one, but I think I will install a second one, the cylinder on the noseretract is HUGE, and need some air
CG was spot on the "competetion" setting, middle of wingtube without any additional weight, I have two 2S/5500 Lipo for the receiver, and a 2S/3300 for the ECU (engine is P200SX) on the tray in the nose. My equipment tray is pretty heavy, a total of 450 gram without equipment (5 mm thick)

Maybe you can see from the pictures that I'm a happy man

"Captain Sandor"
Regarding the Futura, I must say that I'm really impressed with the support and help I have had from Thomas/Tomahawk, I have assembled more than 15 jets, and the Futura is by far the best designed and produced one I have had in my hands, the materials, and the way things are done, period !!

Talking about the engine, I found myself at 1/2 or more power most of the time, I'm not saying that it "needs" a P200, but it doesn't seem overpowered at all with it !

Congrats - the maiden on these models are always non events!

Does Captain Sandor like sailors and seamen then?

Carsten, the invite is still there for Bickley Jets (baby will be 3months old by then [8D] )
