Default Camber gauge problem

hey guys im trying to make adjustements on my Camber using Duratrax pit tech camber gauge...

I set the Degree i want to get then mesure & check if im near the degree i want to acheive

Im trying this on a stock SC10 brushless , and a hyper10tt

Im not even able to get the same reading on the stock sc10..... it was factory assembled how's that
i can't even get to put negative 1 on my hyper 10 tt aswell.. with the pivot

anything i try won't work....
i really dunno this isn't rocket science ..... maybe my gauge isn't good?
but it's pretty impossible to never have the same reading twice even if i didn't re-tune the wheels....

camber changes depending on how squashed your suspension is

if you set the truck down gently, the gauge will read differently than if you drop the truck

When I got my truck I was advised to make or get some Tuning wheels, basicly flat discs instead of real wheels for precise measuring. I got lucky andfound a set on ebay. I find them very handy formaking adjustments. HTH

I haven't seen any. Mine are made of titanium, with o-rings as "tires".

do you have a tutorial page where they advise what rim to take or how to make them?

maybe there's specific rims that are flat enough i think i saw that somewhere on a ON-ROAD rc forum

It appeared to me that some buggy wheels with the flat smooth sides would work just as well, but they don't because both edges of the rim come in contact vs the discs where it's one point of contact on a lineperpendicular to the axel shaft.
