thinking of geting a mt2 just wanted to know if its close to get discontinued or anything because i know the EU site has the bullet now

Europe it was discontinued about a year ago.
Some one e-mailed HPI and they said they had no intentions of releasing the Bullet here. Given that there are a few models that are in Europe that never hit North America I'd take that as truth.
So for now no its not being discontinued.
If you are worried about it being DC'd, and just want a good RC that can drive in most situation I'd get a ofna 1/8th buggy like the jammin for $300. You can probably just slap a st body on that seeing the wheel bases are about the same as the mt2's

Rigger that is one fine ass looking truck.
after few months I got my mt2 out but getting sick of my t-15 engine and having to tune it all time according to weather + want a faster one can anyone help me with a fast engine like.18 that'll drop straight in and require tuning/running in once an high and low speed needles setting then I can just get it out each time start it up an go instead of fiddling it kills it for me
Guys could you help I was ripping about with my car without shell on all was running perfect until my battery cover the bit where arieal is attached to came off an went under my wheel all was ok I pushed the arieal wire back up arieal pipe an clipped it back on but now my car revs alot at idle an decides to accelerate off without need of me unless hold break on. Any ideas?
Do you think the arieal cable has been yanked an damaged something in side the transmiter box

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread
finally about to finish mine after buying the 18ss+ kit years ago. school takes all your time, so thats how it goes. here's a couple pics, its mostly stock.
my futaba 3pl gets here tuesday to finish it off. thats an O.S. 18cv-rx with a motor saver two stage air filter. hitech ultra torque servo for steering. everything else is pretty stock.
is it just me, or does it look like the graphite towers are getting discontinued? im super bummed no one has them cus buying those are the only way to adjust shock position.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread
thanks dudes. i guess it wasn't totally dried when i took those pictures because the orange actually darkened up a bit over night.
finally got my first runs in! mostly ripping skin off my fingers on the pull start and a lot of tuning, but daaaaamn this thing is fun. i was running it around a baseball diamond, so it had lots of nice loose dirt to tear up. i felt so stupid, though, when i drive it up to myself to adjust a needle, look down and realize "oh yeah, i took the air filter off." hope its ok. i think it is though, because a little after this i got a pretty good tune dialed in, and man does that o.s. get that thing moving. insane doughnuts in the dirt, or i could keep all four tires spinning around the diamond seemingly endlessly. very happy with this truck.
FINALLY, after four years, my baby LIVES!!

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread
hey all, the search function isn't working for me on this issue, and honestly... there are 846 pages...
i have the 18ss+ kit with the stock wheels, stock arms, shocks, etc. it looks like the wheels are rubbing on the little washer that hold the shocks on the arms... there is already a pretty good groove being dug into the inside of the wheels after only about three tanks...
has anyone else had this issue? ive done pretty much all my driving on a baseball diamond with loose dirt, doing a lot of power sliding.
