I guess that is the next question: if you have the metal lower hull, where do you get the metal running gear from?
@borealis: are this listed as Asiatam or Taigen hulls?

etoarmor.com will have turned aluminum KT wheels using 8 x 4 bearings in stock in about 3 weeks. They are designed to fit Tamiya, using Tamiya plastic wheel discs and centers, spacers, and Tamiya 4 mm axles. If the Matarro axels are 4mm, should be a bolt on.

Or do what I did on the Tiger lower hull. Drillout the swingarm holes to 4mm to support the Tamiya axle diameter. Works great!!! I will likely be needing a set of those wheels and a Hull and an upper hull and probably some tracks...oh man....here we go again....sigh

See and this is exactly the reason I have postponed my Matorro KT build for two years lol. I have been contemplating what to do with the KT, I know I want to go with the new elmod, but then thought why, the lower hull was crap, well this certainly makes my decision sooo much easier.
