Many of the guys that sell vinyl graphics also sell Masking Stencils for painting
Numbers/letters are easy, Stars/Bars or Roundels not as easy to make stencils of since the use 2 or more colors colors. But they are easy to mask off and cut out yourself.
Look at the pics in my gallery of warbirds I've had, all were painted using home made masking.
