Hey Guys,

Here is an easy way to make your Heng long Pershing Tank barrel recoil. I will sell the tubing & recoil unit you will need to do this yourself as a kit. The pictures below show how easy it is to do. The one I did for these pictures I only used two tubes and it came out OK, but if you use the three tubes that I will include in the kit. The smallest tube will attach to the stock BB gun tube as you use that tube to lengthen the barrel and as the final attachment to the recoil unit. Then the middle size tube from the kit, more closely match’s the width of the stock barrel; this tube then gets glued over the small tube and stock HL tube. You can give the barrel a little more length for a more scale look while you are doing this conversion then use the large tube as your recoil slide and mantle protrusion. Hopefully if this description makes no sense to you the pictures will help out.

Yes, that works great as I have made one recoil systen for my M26 Pershing, but where the H to you attach the two leads from the recoil unit to the RX 18 board. I tried the trigger recoil connection,and all it would do was to make tha Tank fire and jerk all the time and the re coil still did not work

Hello Bob,

You use the same wires that were used to fire the airsoft gun unit. Positive wire goes to the top connection on the recoil motor, and the negative wire goes to the bottom of the recoil unit motor. If you have lost track of which wire does what, you can buy a $ 5.00 multi-meter, attach it to the wires in question and use the radio to see what you get. The recoil itself will be triggered by the left stick up. I hope that helps

You will need a contact switch and a constant power supply if you want the recoil automated, otherwise you will have to hold the left stick up, and then let go of the stick when it gets back to fully extended

Thanks Phil, my only problem is I lost me drawing of the wiring when I removed it all, but will manage foe sure . The re coil you sent me works great .
