RE: DX8 setup for Delta wing, help needed
I had the same problem with the Stryker 27. I set the wing type to Flaperon and then went into mixing, selected ELE > FLP UP -75, Down -75, and SW:On.
Other delta wings I set up with Elevon, but couldn't get it to work with the 27 for some reason.
I hope this helps out.

Elevon is the right choice for a delta. Sometimes (depending on how you installed servos and control horns) you need to swap left and right servo leads at the receiver. If I'm remembering correctly, mine didn't require a change for the Stryker.
You don't need to change tail type - leave it as Normal. With the new F-27Q you can use Dual Rudders.
If the rudder stick is activating your ailerons, either you have things plugged into the receiver wrong (they should be in ELEV and AILE), or you have selected V-Tail instead of Elevon, or your radio has been changed to a different Mode (System Setup screen) than you are thinking. Since you're in the US, I'll assume you're flying Mode 2. In that case, rudder is on the left stick and aileron on the right stick.

Reading your last post more closely, I'm pretty sure you plugged a servo into RUDD instead of AILE.
If you look at the Monitor screen, you will see how ELE and AIL are renamed to LAL and RAL. It will also show you how they move (together for roll or opposite for pitch).
