Default guver charger recommendations

I'm at a point where I can finally recommend some specific chargers. There are plenty of others too. I tend to follow a "deal" mentality when purchasing and tend to follow a "max it out" mentality when using chargers.

BATT PACKS

For 1/18 scale 6-8 cell packs on AC power I recommend the Tower digital or the Duratrax Digital Piranha. They are identical.

For doing the cheap stick packs (NI) and 6-8 cell packs like we all used to use in our 1/10 scale trucks/cars:

I like the MRC superbrain 960 on AC and the Tower/DTX Digital on DC.

Some pics of my current charge stations. Some of these are modded , some not.

The old digital piranha has been modded with an internal ps that allows it to charge 8 cells at 5 amps on AC power.
The elite is a single charger now with 3 parallel outputs , it runs on an old rs 3 amp ps I got cheap.
The onyx 235 has been modded internally to run 8 amps and 70 watts on AC power ONLY.
Soon the Triton 2 will be modded to run on AC power ONLY and deliver 120 watts.

my Duratrax Intellipeak digital pulse charger false peaks a lot with my pro-match 4600's. my older lower mah batteries seem better.

it also doesn't have adjustable peak detection.

on the positive side it will charge over 6.5 amps on a/c.

it works but with today's selection of chargers i don't think i would buy it again.
