Default Trinity 1/16 NOW Brushless Super Truggy RTR.....

What do you guys think about the Trinity 1/16 NOW Brushless Super Truggy RTR? I'm thinking about getting it. Is it worth it? I don't like using lipos yet (I have small kids. The possablity of a fire still scares me). Has anyone used a mini 7.2v with it? What was the new speed (I know the speed will go down, but how much)?

If you have not seen it:

Thanks.

The top speed with the stock 3s lipo battery that comes with it is 29mph. I'd imagine you'd maybe get 20mph on a good 6cell pack but theres really nothing to worry about with lipo's. Trinity made it so that the chances of a lipo accident happening are zero to none. Trust me everything is safe.

Maybe someone will read this and be able to help me out . . .

Purchased the Super Truggy a couple of weeks ago. A SUPER little truck with loads of power, great handling, and lots more speed than I expected.

My only problem occured on the 4th or 5th run . . . the two motor mount screws loosened up and caused the spur gear to strip most of it's teeth. Have been trying since then to obtain a replacement spur gear. First thru Trinity (no help), then through Tower Hobbies (out of stock till late July - early August). The part no. is #30985.

Can anyone help me to get the new spur gear quickly????? If so, please PM or email me.

Thanks in advance,

Dick C
