The problem I had was the nitro coming from the exhaust would get on them after running it for a while and cause them not to work. What I ended up doing was putting a hose on the tip of the exhaust  which in turn shot the exhaust away from the truck instead of spraying the brakes all the time.

grab a hitech 645 mg servo. use it in the steering position and use the sf-2 steering servo for the throttle brake and make sure to use a hump back rechargable reciever pack. remove the spring on the brake rod and replace it with a piece of fuel line. she will stop so good it'll do a front flip. the hitech's are cheap and strong also. (noticable stronger than the sf-2. cheers and good luck-scott

Unless u have one to donate i don't think i will be able to go that route lol i already replaced the spring with fuel tubing but the problem still persists.

That should fix your link lol, not sure but I'm guessing you just need some fuel line on your rod and start adjusting the thumb wheel on said rod.

The Baja pack is freaking massive. It will not fit in the savage box.

You can also try by tightining the screw at end if the torque rod

My stock stuff was also really weak on my savage x. The throttle and the steering were not doing the job.

I bought a hump pack (Venom 1600 mah) and bought a Hitec 645mg. I put my sf-2 on throttle and i can like do frontflip when i break.

But i used only 2 times my hitec 645mg and it brokes. I dont really think this servo is appropriated for the savage. It have really high torque but dont reallu support the stress off bashing (i was bashing really soft)

Sorry for my english, i'm french

I think you got a dud, becausewe have beat trucks unmercifully and the 645mg's have held well for our group.

Take the spring off and put some fuel tube. It will help with breaking.
