i had the same problem with my cc-01, looked so nice that i was afraid to run it.
i suck at painting, so i went with simple black with chrome details.
that trailer andyjk made is pretty cool!

I went green and black with mine, I Just added a Tactic 2.4ghz RX to mine so I need to pick up a UBEC as the TEU 101BK does not have a BEC[]

Thanks for the compliments guys! Yeah the trailer and body took me a while and when I finally had it all done and took it for a drive I freaked out every time it flipped over...didn't want to scratch it- which is impossible not to do seeing as the paint is on the outside of the body lol.

Here's my build thread of the CC-01 if anyone is interested.

I say the Axial SCX10 Trail Truck. Most of what I see done with this truck is a scale 4x4 Trail truck but that doesn't mean you can't mod it some and run it with brushless with speed. I'm not talking the 50mph type speed runs but it can be setup to do 25mph to 35mph. They sell it RTR or a kit. I think you said you had around $200, save a little more and pick up the kit for around $230. You could also find some discounts for Tower Hobbies and A-main to save a little more plus free shipping.

I like my cc01 pajero but only for the scale looks. I don't think its a particularly fantastic performer.

If its overpowered, it will tip over easily and the propeller shaft will break sooner. The rear links are too soft and will sag with age. But it was my first RC so I'll always have a soft spot for it.
