I have a question, I have received several emails from people about different things, but in those pms some said a few bad things about FEJ. Stuff like wings flying off and catastrophic failures do to poor quality. I dont believe anything until I try a product myself and I have talked to Lowell and he says the total opposite that they have not had such. I am just curious, i cannot wait to get mine and really like what i have seen on here and from in person, any thoughts on this?

Okay I figured as much just wanted to ask, I was considering down and locked myself. But I have already spent the money for the EV5 valve. I may convert it to electric later but prob only if I have any problems with the air system.

Hey Fender,

I will trying out my gear hopefully next week and i will let you know if there any issues.  As far what people say, i did a lot of reading on this forum of all jet companies and they all had issues when they first came out.  The one thing i notice about FEJ that they kept on improving and always had good customer services.

I have had and flown 14 FEJ jets. NEVER have I had a structural failure...let me repeat...NEVER. I have rung them out and they are the ones that stay together. The ones I have sold are still flying today..."0" failure. It's just amazing what uneducated people will say.
Sorry for the "bluntness" but true first hand experience.
Don't worry Fender, they are solid and fly great. Ask the guys flying them. Not the ones without....
No rebuttles needed...these are just the facts from first hand experience.
Thanks,
Lowell

Thanks Lowell you told me this before, I am not worried one bit and happy with my choice, I was just curios since I have had a few comments here and there from people stating "I should have picked a jet the wings will stay on" I think I was wanting to bring this to light so people who may think something wrong will give FEJ a try. I already have my eye on the F-14 hehe, either that or the F-18 maybe next years project!
I need something to work so I dont have all this time to sit around and think to much LOL I am trying to work Kentucky Jets, my orig plan isnt going to happen so I am checking to see if my friend will just fly me up or I may rent a plane and fly myself!!!

Lowell,

Just wondering if you could comment on how well your FEJ A10 is flying, how is it holding up. I'm ready to test fly mine, but I note with intrest RCPete's build thread on the FEJ A10 has disappeared. What C of G works best

Thanks

I also am nearing completion of my large size FEJ A-10. Waiting on mounting the turbines to see if a different exhaust pipe is needed to change the thrust angle (to allow rotation) that some folks have mentioned. Has any on successfully flown one of these other than the factory? If so, any modifications required?

Nick

Thanks for sending the info to Nick and Rowdy James. Guys, those are the settings you need to use.
Looking forward to seeing new faces at Kentucky Jets. With all I have and Vega (Bill) has we should have a full line up flying!!
Can't wait.

Can anyone elaborate on this super light material? I noticed the new 1/7 scale and the A7 say lighter material? Does this mean all the FEJ jets will in the future have this "Lighter Material" construction? How much weight does it save?

Where does it say "pusher" or tail mounted motor on their web page. I am looking at this F-16 for my next jet and was hoping to use a P-120 for power. This may be over kill?? I like the simple sport gear setup...anyone know what the "special" pricing....price is for the jet and how long after placing an order can i expect delivery??
Thanks,
Vin...
BTW...the A-7 looks real sharp, nice to see some other type of jet on the market.

Vincent: You can send me email for price too. [email protected]
You still can fly it with P120, no problem.
engine can mount at tail or middle. (mounted at tail will save pipe weight)

here are some A7 production photos by using honeycomb paper, core and carbon fiber.

Thanks
James
