its insane how often i see a "used" redcat on ebay for MORE then they cost new!
I dont know if the owners are out of their minds, or if they bought the models from dealers who way over charged and so the owner thinks they are selling it for less than a new one.

Rock crawlers are a big offender. just cause it has a custom body and some scale accesories doesnt make it worth $100 more than a brand new on!!!!
seriously, how often do you see a ax10 or scx 10 for $300+? they are $240ish new. even with a decent brushless upgrade they arent worth more than a brand new one.

yeah the one with BRAND NEW NEVER USED except on carpet "its used you tool" i love that makes me want to buy his and the $1200 tmaxx is a good one too i saw one on ebay like that but no motor and no ellectronics for 1100 i think last month

Time to sell my Traxxas Rustler VXL w/ lots and lots of goodies. Can easily go 70+mph I easily have over $1200 into this and am asking $600 obo for everything including the charger and new battery


IMO, there is no goody or extra that makes a Rustler worth $600.

that actually doesn't look that bad for the price if you look in the pic there are 2 ground based RC's a rustler, and something that looks like a buggy(if both are included).
Helicopters are expensive not very up on them but even the exceeds are almost $200 new, and boats I'm not very apt for but they can be quite costly too from what I seen

As sad as it is, I don't even bother looking in RCuniverse's classifieds anymore. For each ad that is priced appropriately, with decent pictures and a good description, there's 10 that are way over inflated, poorly described or you just know there are problems with it.

Dude, that car is acutaly worth every penny of the $45k considering he only made 5 and it's hand made, no factory junk here. Those old tether cars are realy valuable to the collectors.
Saw another of his hand made cars go for $40K at an auction a couple years back.(that was without a motor)
Also if you read the whole listing you would have seen that the $450 includes full price insurance, that takes up well over $400 to insure something worth that much.
Awesome deal if you have that kind of cash.

Hi, i have a new still in the box earthquake 8e brush less monster truck.
I have used it only once and it is too powerful for me and i need something more novice.
I have bought it from redcatracing and it was 399.99 + tax and shipping and handling.
I shipped it back to redcat racing for them to inspect the rc car and make sure everything is good before selling.
The radio is still in the foam bag and is brand new.
Brand new body.
It comes with car, charger, 2 batteries, controller, body, and 4 spare axles.
This rc car is 1/8 scale 4 wheel drive and it goes up to 80km/h with the stuff i have for it.
