RE: .40 size Cassutt
Best of luck
That Cassutt was designed by a suburban Chicago modeler, per name in the dwg, after the full scale Cassutt, flown by a Mr. Pete Waters or similar (N#PW). The Red photo on the box top duplicates his piant scheme. I saw it once at Howell Airport, 127th & Cicero back in early 80's. when he was warming it up for a last flight at the closing of the airport.
Cant beat the for sale market places for finding the great kits!!!!

Here's my 1/4 scale Cassutt! Don't let the tiny tail feathers fool ya- they are quite effective! This is my 2nd one. The first flew so well I ended up 'dumb-thumbing' it doing low level aerobatics.

I have been doing some building on the Cassutt. Fuse is framed up and I layed up some glass parts to replace the plastic ones. Looks like it will be Rossi .45 for power mounted inverted with an Ultra thrust muffler. The colors are going to change. One club that I race with is sponsoring a race to raise money for the cancer reserch. As my mother in law is currently going through breast cancer treatment, the airplane will be done in Monokote white and pink. Dubbed " Miss GG " in honor of my mother in law.
