Default My first painted body

Here are photos of my Rustler with a Baja Bug body and stock wheels that I painted. What do you think, I was debating adding led lights for a bit of fun. Any thoughts on LED kits?

I have added torches to my Baja Bug where the headlight stickers are, i masked it on the inside before painting and glued the "light buckets" (which i took from the dismantled torches) on to the body Did the same with the masking on the rear and used 10 mm leds there.

Oh, and very nice painting!

Thanks guys.
And Lars, that sounds very cool. Do you have any photos of your bug?
I just ordered a 10mm LED kit for the front and back along with a fog light kit off of Bill's LED's. They seem great and are very inexpensive. I'll let you know the result when I get them.

That's a great looking bug! It looks very scale! I have been building scale planes for a while but am new to building the scale cars. I want to build something like the rear guard you have there. Very nice!

Thanks a lot Yes, i love the outcome of the rear cage, i used an old tv-antenna for the tubings, hehe. And i have always loved the look of the Tamiya Sand Scorcher, so finally i got to make a version of it

Thanks,I'm really not a fan of "graphics". I prefer the more subtle looks.

I added an LED Kit to it yesterday. I originally bought the kit just for fun but works really well driving outside after dark.

Looks really nice! Do you have a picture when the lights are turned off so i can see the frontlights? Hmmm, that sounds like a strange question I like the canisters on the rear lights

oops, sorry. Here's the photo of the underside and another close up of the battery and switch. The LED's with are holding up really well. I just went out on the dirt to test out my new brushless kit and the lights worked well.
