ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
I just flew my first rc jet last night had some trouble with flying and just decided to go inside. This morning i did a re flight check and everything worked even throttle. Then after breakfast I went back to do another flight check and I noticed the ESC kept beeping, i didnt know what that ment till i tried the throttle, NONE. there was no pwer to the engine at all. Now i'm stuck did i burn up something or is something disconnected?

RE: ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
I'm not sure , i mean i bought this jet from bananahobby, its a blitzrcworks F/A 18c 4CH V2 jet. the ESC doesnt even have a brand name on it. Wait I just remembered the real brand name of most of the parts on the plane are Starmax, which sounds like chinease crap, but IDK

RE: ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
Beeps sometimes mean the ESC is not arming:
- no signal
- throttle is not in safe position (if you trim the throttle too high you can experience this too)
- battery cut off is too high and the battery pack is detected as low voltage
Could be any of the above or more ... yeah its Chinese crap sold by an American, should be called TREASON.

RE: ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
You probably need to calibrate the throttle.
Turn on the transmitters.
When it is on advance the throttled stick to full.
Turn on the Receiver and power the ESC. (be ready to pull apart the power wires if you screw up or the ESC is faulty)
You will hear two beeps.
Reduce the throttle to "off"
You will now hear one beep
The throttle is now calibrated.
Disconnect everything and power off the transmitter.
Start over as normal, the ESC should work now and you are good to go.

RE: ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
I think you have most of the answers already but I do know I had some of the same problems with an EDF before. I found out that if you have digital throws on a computer radio set for anything other than 100% on the throttle channel, your ESC cannot decipher the setting correctly and will not power up. After I called Hobby Lobby about it, we discussed ithe symptoms and we finally fixed the issue. Maybe you changed you settings after your first run up?

Just happened to see this post, and I apologize if you've already found the problem. It sounds to me that your trim is not all the way down. Bottom out the throttle AND the trim. Of course it may be something complicated, but I don't think so.

RE: ESC keeps beeping, NO MOTOR POWER
I have an ESC which if you dont run the motor for almost 3 mins, it alarms. I found that it resets by opening to full throttle then back to close, alarm stops and motor will restart. Pain in the proverbial when thermalling but it might prove useful if it lands out of site and I can zero in on the alarm which is quite loud as I can hear it well up in the air as long as the 2 strokes aren't tearing around
