I might come out for the JBRL race and had a few questions.
What tires work best out there? Do you run the track wet or dry? Does the track get blown out near the end of the day?
Do you have any more picture of the layout from the drivers stand? The full layout is hard to see in the pictures.

GFR still closed
Green Flag seems to be in a political Limbo. I can't get a answer from parks and rec.that makes any sense.[X(] I am truly frustrated with this whole situation.[:@] It is time to assemble all GFR 's racers and those who care at the Parks and rec. board meeting on Wednesday December 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Lime street Park.[sm=punching.gif] Please come show your support, The more community support the stronger this program becomes. after all what the community's wants should control Parks and Rec's decisions.

Good News, Super Dave called me last night, GREEN FLAG RC Raceway will be getting some up grades. Park and Rec is in the works for getting the whole park ADA Compliant, so a new ramp will be getting built and well as other improvments. the track is still closed till all the up grades are completed.

Saturday practice has shown a good turn out. I am usually at the track early on Saturday mornings doing track maintenance I plan to increase track hours as soon as I can figure out how to monitor the track during practice hours. Right now I am winging it, as Park /Rec is going threw changes. I should Know what park/rec will do and wont do for green Flag R/C soon.

Whats going on at Green Flag RC Raceway ?
The Track has bin or still is Aw-some in spite of The freezing cold and Rain..Last Sunday was a blast ,Ran my 1/8 scale and my 1/10 scale gas truck. The dirt was perfect,I really like this lay out. Beginning in January Green Flag will close for a new track lay out and to begin a New 1/10 scale track.

]Green Flag is now closed for a new track lay out and some sifting of the dirt.The new track design will feature a short course and a long course /1/8.scale. ]Volunteers welcome. Volunteers will be awarded Free Racing at the spring open March 24 2012. Volunteer Sat and Sun all day.
