Rigger RC speed boats, is there a 1:1 version?
I have been considering a new raceboat project in 1:1 scale, something about 8 to 10 feet long, a mini missle if you well lol
I have never seen a rigger in more or less 1:1 scale, does one exist or is it only in our world of RC?
I come from a boating family so it's not like I'm out touching with boating in general.
So are there any in full scale?

Ellison is one name to look for - http://www.ellisonraceconcepts.com http://boatracingfacts.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=107147
He was making RC versions as well as full scale drag boats.
I also remember seeing something looking very home made with a big V8 in it. No idea if it actually ran though

You guys forgot about the first outrigger hydro, the 1969 Pay'N Pak http://www.newtonmarine.com/plan_det...=167&category=
What you should consider is that the Pak hull had a tendancy of knocking the driver out of the cockpit with a wall of water in the turns, just something to think about
