If so I might buy 3-4 engines, and change my nitros to gas to save fuel cost

RE: New truck
it's not tricks i got an email form HPI, and unless the trickster is very elaborate with keeping up HPI email updates, i'm calling this real... truely intrested myself, if only for the simplicity that a gas engine would bring to the table, plus that whole $30-45 a gallon thing? i'll even get high octane for this bad boy

RE: New truck
Saw this in the 1/5th scale forum, this will be interesting but I'm still waiting for the 1/5th savage.
Edit: Looked at hpi's rcx coverage and here's a pic from it.

That was discontinued everywhere on the planet due to poor sales(partially cause it cost the SAME as a baja) before it even came out here.
BTW I'm guessing that stupid silhouette was the press release judging by the European site that had it on the 9th, and that picture is dated the 9th with no word other than it...

No, i was around when that joke came out and everyone couldn't belive what hpi did. We in the 5th scale scene want to see a true 1/5th scale gas savage, enough with the baja and sct.

I kinda wanted it till I saw its price... Dunno what HPI was thinking selling a truck you could get for $400, and put $40 TVPs on for almost $1000

RE: New truck
Hopefully it wont be a lame 2wd gasoline remake that resembles a savage.
A 4x4 baja T5 would be awesom. Hopfully the new savage paves the way, insted of it following in the foot steps of the baja t5.
