I wouldn't spend $10 on Nitro so $1000 is out of the question. If I had that kind of money to blow I would do the HPI T5 stadium truck or The Vorza.

You do realize that he purposely uses bad grammar and spelling, right? Not to mention the fact that his ''contribution'' to this specific thread was two posts about how he wouldn't buy a nitro vehicle. Also, the Savage Flux is not a nitro vehicle.

RE: $1000
Wow, a 1000 bucks to blow. Would be so much fun. Lets see. Has to be nitro...... Heck, im pretty cautious with how i spend my "play" money. Id do alot of researh first. Probably look into one of Losi monster trucks, a 1/8 buggy, or one of those nitro crouch (i spelled that wrong i know it) rockets. Could you imagine winning 100 mil on the lottery? Then the easier question for me would be: What rc stuff would you NOT buy.......

Lets face it, with 1000 bucks you can get a top class car in any division you like. So the question becomes; what class interests you the most/is missing from your collection?
Things that immediately spring to mind... An Xray buggy, an Xray truggy, an Xray touring car. Sub the word Xray for Mugen and there's 3 more choices. For nitro with that budget, I don't think you need to look at any other brand than those 2.

RE: $1000
cuhrron you can GET an 801XT for $225, shipped, from tamiya usa. before it was $199, shipped. i got one. it's the nicest rc i've ever bought. if you want, you can do it on the cheap, say, $100 for a dynamyte 24 on ebay if you can still find one, $100 or less for servos from hk (at least to get you going), a cheap integy pipe and tires (say $40, with the discount, believe it or not) and a receiver to match your radio, and you've got something very nice to knock around in. i know i do.... and you are out the door for less than $500! later you can get savox or hi tec or whichever servos you want, and an o.s. 25 or 28 or whatever, if you want "the best." but i don't know of a cooler kit for $225, i mean, what costs $225? a traxxas mighty mutt?
