RE: P-20 Airframe Thread
Hi All,
I am a bit confused about the position of the engine tail cone in respect to the pipe bell mouth.
Is the engine tail cone positioned 20mm inside the bell mouth or 20mm outside the bell mouth?
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards, Craig.

The bellmouth on the Als hobbies pipe is so big I dont think it will make a very big difference how it is positioned. The more you put the nozzle in the pipe the better off you are if you should have a bit of a litl gas plume on startup

Guys, the pipe from Ali is the same pipe as the one I supply and have manufactured, the bell-mouth is made so its identical to the specs of the Jetcat pipe so keeping everything as it should be.
In terms of position here are the JC specs, and suggested position, its how I did the Habu conversion for Ali etc with no issues.

I think I must be black listed. I get hit EVERYTIME without fail regardless of the declared value.

If you want someone to test an HST pipe against a standard pipe I have a Jet Teng L39 with a P20 that could use a little help. LOL

Hello Mike ( Bald Eagle) - sorry can`t find your e-mail adress or our conversation in detail.
Do you remember the pipe I have sent you ?
What are the results ?

How about a Flying Fox?
I've seen this fly a couple of times on EDF and it goes pretty well (and it looks better in the flesh than it does in the pictures!).

RE: P-20 Airframe Thread
Well it looks like the HK Hawk is finally here, although sold out already and i'm not surprised at that price. They also have some scale electric retracts to go with it.

RE: P-20 Airframe Thread
Complete steal for that money. I'd guess these jets are always going to be available in limited quantities since they probably only have a small number of moulds. Hope it comes into the new HK UK warehouse when it opens for business. Have just joined a club with a fab tarmac strip so would be perfect.

RE: P-20 Airframe Thread
I wonder if the Hawk comes with loose inlets as the CMP one does... so that you atleast have the choice to make new ones without having to repaint the whole fuselage.

Yes they do. It was on HK's video. I think it is the CMP... just in new paint.
